At Lalor North Secondary College, we are committed to the wellbeing and learning of all students so that every student feels successful.
Our Transition and Home Group Programs ensure that every student has a teacher to support and guide them ensuring a smooth transition. In addition to this, all Year 7 students will be paired with a Year 10 Mentor who will mentor and support our newest students during their transition into our wonderful college.
The Year 7 Learning Area is designed to ease transition into the secondary setting. The courtyard has ample seating space, lovely gardens and plenty of playing space for students to use during recess and lunch times. The Year 7 Locker Bay and classrooms are situated within this space allowing students to adjust comfortably to their new setting and to build valuable long-term relationships with our staff and with friends.
